Zinc-titanium is a well-established material for gutter production, with a zinc purity of over 99%, alloyed with titanium, copper, and aluminum. One advantage of zinc-titanium gutters is the ability to solder individual parts, ensuring uniform and durable connections. Over time, they gain a natural protective layer – patina – which ensures long-term durability without maintenance.
Copper gutter systems are among the most durable options. They are characterized by high resistance and low thermal expansion. Available in a limited range of colors – mainly natural or dark brown. Copper gutters do not rust, and the copper oxide layer formed on their surface protects the material against corrosion. Over time, green patina – copper carbonate – forms on the gutters. Their resistance and timeless durability ensure hassle-free use for hundreds of years.
