Dachland Patron of Olsztyn Sports – Supporting Handball, Football, and Volleyball!
Dachland is honored to be part of a special sports event taking place on November 7 at Hala Urania in Olsztyn. During the opening of the qualification round for the 2026 European Handball Championship, the Polish national team will face Israel, kicking off the new 2024/2025 season. This is the first senior national team match in this edition, and the support of our fans will be invaluable for the White and Reds on their way to the European championship.
Sporting Tradition of Hala Urania
Hala Urania, with an impressive capacity of over 4,000 seats, is a symbolic venue for Polish handball. It was here in 2005 that the so-called “Wenta’s Eagles” were born, when the Polish national team, featuring a young Marcin Lijewski, defeated Sweden and secured a spot in the European Championship. Today, nearly 20 years later, Marcin Lijewski returns to Hala Urania as the head coach of the Polish national team, adding special meaning to this match. Will the Olsztyn arena bring luck to our players once again?
